Frostpunk On the Edge DLC Overview and Gameplay
On the Edge revisits the macabre world of Frostpunk but brings some new mechanics and an entirely new scenario to the table. The main difference in this DLC is that you rely on trading with other settlements for sorely needed resources. You are basically a colony of New London and let's just say New London is filled with jerks and they're keen on lording it over you since they have food and you don't. Ever Forward Gameplay Preview – Cinematic Puzzle Game
There are usually two types of puzzle games. One type has a clear cut solution with only one possible path to that solution. For games like this, the main fun comes in figuring out the path to the win state, such as Portal 2. The other type of puzzle game has many possible paths. These are less structured and the fun comes in breaking the game in new and oftentimes hilarious ways, ala Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts (a vastly underrated game). Ever Forward falls into the first category but it does a great job of obscuring the path to the solution and makes it feel like a more open world. Cardaclysm Gameplay Preview
Cardaclysm is an interesting take on the card combat genre. It tries to take the game play loop in a slightly different direction. While it does succeed in bringing about a new paradigm in the combat mechanics, the balancing isn't quite there yet so it leads to some incredibly frustrating fail states.
