ForeVR Bowl is a pretty darn good VR bowling experience.

ForeVR is a pretty darn fun bowling sim. It’s straightforward and controls very well.

The game has very little nonsense and provides for a pure bowling experience. The controls feel pretty good for the most part and come close to simulating the bowling experience. I did have some difficulty in getting the ball to curve but I’ll chalk that up to my own inexperience with the game.

The game also does a great job of creating an environment that feels pretty close to a real bowling lane, minus the copious amounts of cheap beer. The default lane is also my personal favorite. It has oldie classics blasting and makes the game that much more enjoyable for me.

The game has different lanes available with its own set of music. The unlocks provide a sense of progression.

There is some progression and unlocks in the game as well. After playing a round, you level up and gain coins. You can unlock new lanes and balls. Each lane looks different and has it’s own set of music.

The game keeps it simple and focuses on the single player and multiplayer modes for the most part.

Other than casual and ranked single player modes, the game has multiplayer with friends or randoms, a practice mode, and a tutorial.

Overall, ForeVR Bowl is a fantastic bowling experience. It captures the simplicity and purity of a game like Wii Sports with the added immersion and enhanced controls of virtual reality. It is, by far, one of the best bowling games I’ve played in VR as of now.
