Legend of Keepers is a dungeon management sim with elements of a roguelite.

Your main goal is to protect the dungeon’s treasures from those pesky, thieving adventurers. At your disposal is an arsenal of traps, spells, and employees (minions) to do your bidding and wreck havoc on any who dare enter.

You can complete one activity per week, from upgrading traps to hiring new employees.

In between fending off adventurers, you can train and hire new employees, buy and upgrade traps, and manage your workplace which often ends up with finding random artifacts as well as buffing or debuffing your employees through happenstance.

Not paying attention to the adventurers will get your employees demoralized (aka dead).

The game feels incredibly fast paced, but you can play at your leisure as the combat is turn based. There is very little fluff or unnecessary grinding in the game and that is much appreciated. The core gameplay loop has a decent learning curve as it is necessary to pay attention to elemental weaknesses and strengths, debuffs and buffs, and stats to get the most effective defense for your dungeon.

Monsters need vacations too.

On top of this, you need to manage the morale of your employees by providing them time off. Monsters are people too.

Legend of Keepers is a fun, no nonsense game with deep mechanics and relies on your wit to wring the most out of what you’re given. It’s turn based nature also makes it a perfect game to have in the background constantly and play while doing other things as well.
