Pretty Girls Speed Gameplay Preview

Yes, it’s that time of year again, the time of year when kawaii anime girls invade once more. That’s right, there’s another Pretty Girls game and this time around the game is speed!

The game of speed is very simple, you have four cards in your hand and two in the middle. Your goal is to get rid of all your cards before your opponent by placing cards on the playing field. You can only place cards that are either one card higher or lower than the ones in the middle. For example, if there is an eight in the middle, you can place down a seven or nine.

When both players can’t proceed, you both draw from your pile and place a new card in the middle. When there are no more cards in your pile, you place down a card from your hand onto the playing field.

The game is actually pretty enjoyable. You can’t go wrong with speed. The difficulty is not too hard but you will still end up losing a few rounds here and there. You pick one anime girl and play a best out of three. If you win, you unlock the next girl to play against. The game also has one hundred challenge levels. The challenge levels honestly don’t feel much different from the main mode.

As for the anime girls (if that is your cup of tea) they are, shall we say, rather well endowed. Honestly not my kind of thing and made me feel a bit uncomfortable, but thankfully the game play was fun enough to keep me occupied.

Overall, Pretty Girls Speed is a very solid game. It takes around two hours to get all the achievements, plus an hour or two more to complete all the challenge levels. As with the other Pretty Girls games, they are a fun and short bite of entertainment. Don’t let the anime girls distract you, the games are actually pretty fun!
