Plan B from Outer Space: A Bavarian Odyssey is a very silly choose your own adventure graphic novel. The story is about a shape shifting alien that crash lands on Earth and the hilarious misadventures that ensue.
The game is light on mechanics as you only select one of multiple choices to branch your story. The writing, however, is superbly funny. The game has a very dry wit to it combined with a very lighthearted silliness.
The writing is also well done in that there is really no immediate fail states. As they say “the show must go on” and so it does, in hilarious fashion until the story arrives at its unpredictable conclusion. There are many branch points and endings along with the story only taking thirty minutes or so, so the game is incredibly replayable.
Overall, Plan B from Outer Space is a very funny adventure. The humor is great and the moments incredibly silly and memorable.
