Embracelet is a magical coming of age story set on the tiny island of Slepp in northern Norway. Jesper is tasked by his ailing grandfather, as his last request, to return a magical bracelet to its place of origin.

The bracelet let’s the wearer move around items with their will much like the Force in Star Wars. Armed with the bracelet, Jesper sets off to reveal the truth of its origin as well as uncover his grandfather’s veiled history.

Once on the island of Slepp, you move around and solve mysteries by interacting with objects and people like in a point and click adventure game. The puzzles are fairly straight forward and simple. Most of the work is in clicking on objects in the right order or finding the right object for the task.

Overall, Embracelet is a quaint tale of a young teen finding his identity and purpose in life while coming to appreciate his origins and the beauty of nature around him. The simple but charming artwork and backing track work together quite well to help accomplish this. The characters and events that happen also do a fine job to capture what it felt like in those formative years of transitioning into an adult.
