Lake is a pretty well done interactive narrative. You follow along Meredith Weiss as she takes a break from the big city and her demanding job to deliver mail in her small hometown of Providence Oaks. You interact with the colorful cast of characters as you deliver their mail. It's a slow, dialogue driven game and it's fantastic! Monster Harvest is a farming sim with a slight twist. By day you farm the land as usual, and then by night you go exploring a dungeon and fight battles with your Planimals, plants that turned into animals. The Big Con is a game dripping with style and nostalgia. The art style is reminiscent of the colored comic strips commonly found in newspapers. The music hails back to the simpler times of the 90s. The game is a nostalgia trip back to the days of renting movies from Blockbuster, watching MTV, and calling friends on landlines. Farmer Life Simulator attempts to be a farming simulator. The attempt was definitely questionable to begin with and the game misses the target by a wide margin. It's as if the developers have never seen how farming is actually done or played a farming sim game to begin with. Seed of Life is a game about exploration at its heart. It's quite enjoyable once you get into the game. You play a young woman exploring a dying alien planet in search of a seed that can potentially restore the life force of the planet itself. There are some slight rough areas, however, that make getting immersed into the game a bit more difficult than it should be.
