This is where you find Atlantum Ore in Techtonica.
The vein is located to the north and a tad east of Production Terminal Victor. If you follow the river you should see some lights. The vein is tucked away behind some rock outcroppings you can squeeze in between.
Below are all nineteen Atlantum Ore veins currently in the game (from the Techtonica Calculator website) if you want more than one. One was enough to get to endgame for me.
To refine Atlantum Ore, you must put the ore into a Thresher to get Atlantum Powder and Limestone (by product). The Atlantum Powder must be placed into an Assembler along with Silverthorn Extract and Kindlevine Extract to create Atlantum Mixture. Finally, the mixture can be put into a smelter and turned into Atlantum Ingots.
To mine Atlantum Ore, you start with using Mining Charges to clear the speckled green soil until you reveal the vein. You use the ore to unlock the door at the Research Lab and scan the Mining Drill MKII technology. The door will be Door RD-3215 and will require eighty Atlantum Ore and ten Cooling Systems to open. The drill will be able to mine the vein and as a bonus does not need fuel but does require being connected to power instead.
This is the most direct path to the research lab. Some minor digging is required to complete the path.
